At RIFT, we’re working on something revolutionary: Iron Fuel Technology. Our goal is to enable sustainable heat production worldwide. As we make the final crucial steps towards commercialization, we need the right people. Are you the HR Officer to support us on this journey? As you grow in this role, you’ll gain more responsibility and discover all facets of the field.


How you can make an impact

As an HR Officer, you’ll be part of the HR team, which plays a critical role in recruiting and selecting new RIFT team members and optimally supporting our existing team. Your primary focus will be on the recruitment and onboarding process. By carefully screening candidates and coordinating a smooth onboarding experience, you’ll create a positive first impression of our organization. This goes both ways: you’ll also ensure that our current team is kept well-informed about new colleagues, fostering smooth collaboration.


What you'll do as a HR Officer

  • Actively search for suitable candidates on LinkedIn and develop outreach skills—a key ability you’ll quickly gain here.

  • Coordinate the recruitment process behind the scenes from A to Z, ensuring things move efficiently and smoothly.

  • Conduct phone screenings to get to know candidates and introduce them to RIFT.

  • Support job interviews by listening in and taking notes, gaining insight into the selection process.

  • Assist in the onboarding of new colleagues, helping the team operate at its best and giving new hires a warm start.

  • Take on administrative tasks to support the HR team, gaining valuable experience in behind-the-scenes HR processes.

Job requirements

  • Are pursuing or have completed a relevant degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Are eager to learn and motivated to gain practical experience in HR.

  • Have strong communication and social skills to interact effectively with candidates and colleagues.

  • Are highly organized and work accurately in planning and task management.

  • Have digital skills and an affinity with tools like LinkedIn and Recruitee, or are willing to quickly learn these.

  • Are available for at least 16 hours per week.

  • Have an excellent command of the Dutch language (B2)
