Chemical R&D Engineer

You will play a central role in fundamental research on Iron Fuel Technology, focusing on metal powders and flow processes. With your technical expertise and innovative mindset, you will help turn scientific insights into real-world solutions.

What you’ll do as an R&D Engineer

• Conduct fundamental research into the core aspects of Iron Fuel Technology, with a particular focus on metal powders

• Plan and execute experiments using test rigs and advanced analytical techniques

• Advise on scaling research findings towards commercial applications

• Collaborate closely with Lab, Engineering, and R&D teams to translate scientific discoveries into practical solutions

What you bring as an R&D Engineer

• A sharp analytical mind, energised by tackling and solving complex challenges

• Strong knowledge of materials science and metal morphology, gained through a degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline

• Experience in data analysis and modelling to generate insights and optimise processes

• The ability to translate complex concepts into practical applications and innovative test designs

• A proactive and curious mindset, with an interest in metal powders and a passion for working on challenging problems in a multidisciplinary team
