Chemical R&D Engineer

You will play a central role in fundamental research on Iron Fuel Technology, focusing on metal powders and flow processes. With your technical expertise and innovative mindset, you will help turn scientific insights into real-world solutions.

What you’ll do as an R&D Engineer

• Lead and conduct in-depth research into key aspects of Iron Fuel Technology, with a focus on metal powders, taking ownership of experimental design and methodology

• Design, plan, and execute complex experiments using test rigs and advanced analytical techniques, interpreting results to drive improvements

• Provide guidance on translating research findings into scalable and commercially viable applications

• Collaborate closely with Lab, Engineering, and R&D teams, contributing to the development of innovative solutions and optimising processes

• Support the development of research strategies and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and impact

What you bring as an R&D Engineer

• A sharp analytical mind, motivated by independently tackling and solving complex technical challenges

• Solid expertise in materials science and metal morphology, acquired through a degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, with practical experience applying this knowledge

• Proven experience in data analysis and modelling to generate actionable insights and optimise processes

• The ability to translate complex concepts into practical applications and design innovative tests to validate ideas

• A proactive and curious mindset, with a strong interest in metal powders and the ability to drive projects forward within a multidisciplinary team
