Senior Process Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to leverage your extensive knowledge and experience in designing technical processes and mentoring junior and medior engineers. How you make an impact

As a Senior Process Engineer, you play a crucial role in the process design and development of our innovative Iron Fuel systems. In this multifaceted role, you will be involved from A to Z, from concept to the physical startup of the system you designed. You will be part of one or more projects, collaborating with engineers from various disciplines, sharing responsibilities with your team. You will influence not only the technical aspects but also the development of your team members by sharing your knowledge and experience.

What you do as a Senior Process Engineer

• 
  Determine the requirements that systems must meet for optimal performance.
• Design chemical processes for Iron Fuel Technology, from concept to P&ID level.
• Collaborate with the Technical Project Manager on feasibility studies and conceptual designs (FEL/FEED studies).
• Actively participate in the startup of systems, ensuring safety and operability
• Contribute to safety studies (HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL) to identify safety risks and ensure that your colleagues can work safely.
• Share your knowledge and experience within the team to promote the development and growth of junior and medior engineers.
  

Why you make a difference? You...

• Bring at least 7 years of experience in process engineering within the heat, energy production, (petro)chemical, or comparable industry.
• Have in-depth knowledge of process design and relevant software tools.
• Enjoy collaborating on projects with engineers from different disciplines and have a coordinating role.
• Communicate fluently in both Dutch and English.
• Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a similar field.
• Enjoy serving as a mentor to your team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
