QHSE Manager

Do you want to play a key role in accelerating the energy transition while making sure everything runs safely, smoothly, and by the book? As QHSE Manager at RIFT, you are the person who keeps our Iron Fuel Technology and related processes on track in terms of quality and safety. You create structure, develop and maintain our quality and safety management system, and ensure we comply with laws and regulations while staying on top of relevant certifications like ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001. Thanks to your efforts, we minimize risks and build together a safe, sustainable, and future-proof organization where innovation is at the heart of everything we do.

What you’ll do as QHSE Manager

• You are a role model in leadership and promote a strong safety and quality culture within Rift.

• You have ultimate responsibility for QHSE and establish the right structures (such as OKRs and KPIs) to achieve our business objectives.

• You lead the HSE core team and ensure they achieve their team goals.

• You manage the QHSE management system, including documentation, audits, and the communication of policies and procedures.

• You conduct risk analyses, identify hazards, and establish control measures. You fulfill (or delegate) the role of chief emergency response officer (BHV) and safety officer.

• You ensure the appropriate training structure and materials are in place so employees can perform their work safely and according to policy.

• You manage incidents, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.

• You continuously work on improving systems based on data and trends.

How you make a difference?

• You hold a degree in Higher Safety Engineering (HVK) or Integrated Safety Engineering (IVK).

• You have experience with HQMS systems and know how to use them effectively for continuous improvement.

• You have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the field of QHSE, specifically for industrial environments.

• You lead teams with conviction and serve as a role model for safe and quality-oriented behavior.
