Field Operator

At RIFT, we're working on something revolutionary: Iron Fuel Technology. Our goal is to enable sustainable heat production on a global scale. Our industrial pilots are already up and running, but to truly make an impact, we need you. We're an enthusiastic team aiming to achieve something big, and we're looking for a Field Operator to help us make it happen.

How you can make an impact

As a Field Operator at RIFT, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our test installation. You'll make sure our tests run smoothly and help us continuously improve the technology. Your contributions will enable us to take the next step in scaling up our Iron Fuel Technology, helping us make the world a bit more sustainable.

What you do as a Field Operator

• You ensure the plant operates according to procedures and guidelines, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficient use of energy and resources.
• You monitor the operation of equipment, systems, and processes in the installation, stepping in to address issues before they cause downtime.
• You carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks, making sure everything is prepared for larger maintenance jobs.
• You test the equipment after maintenance to ensure it’s ready for operation.
• You supervise when colleagues or contractors are working, ensuring they follow the necessary safety protocols.
• You contribute to a clean and safe working environment by maintaining order and cleanliness in the plant.

• Have a strong sense of responsibility and enjoy working as part of a team with other operators.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a chemical or other technical environment.
