Medior Process Engineer

RIFT is an innovative startup focused on decarbonizing the heat-intensive industry with our groundbreaking Iron Fuel Technology. We are looking for a Medior Process Engineer to strengthen our team. How you make an impact

As a Medior Process Engineer, you play an essential role in the process design and development of our innovative Iron Fuel systems. In this multifaceted role, you will be involved from A to Z, from concept to the physical startup of the system you designed. You will be part of one or more projects, collaborating with engineers from various disciplines to ensure the system performs optimally.

What you do as a Medior Process Engineer

• Determine the requirements that systems must meet for optimal performance.
• Design chemical processes for Iron Fuel Technology, from concept to P&ID level.
• Collaborate with the Technical Project Manager on feasibility studies and conceptual designs (FEL/FEED studies).
• Actively participate in the startup of systems, ensuring safety and operability.
• Contribute to safety studies (HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL) to identify safety risks and ensure that your colleagues can work safely.

Why you can make a difference? You...

• 
  Bring at least 3 years of experience in process engineering within the heat, energy production, (petro)chemical, or comparable industry.
• Have knowledge and experience with software and systems used in process engineering.
• Enjoy collaborating on projects with engineers from different disciplines.
• Are proficient in both Dutch and English.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a similar field/experience.
