Chief Development Officer (CDO)

As our Chief Development Officer, you will be the visionary leader driving the development of a €1 billion+ project portfolio. You will lead a highly-motivated team of Business and Project Developers and, as a key member of the Management Team, set the strategic course for RIFT. With your leadership and vision, you will turn bold, sustainable energy projects into reality.

How you make an impact

• Provide strategic and tactical leadership to the Development Team, building the right capabilities within RIFT to successfully develop complex projects.

• Take full responsibility for the entire project portfolio up to Final Investment Decision (FID), managing risks and proactively seizing opportunities to maximize value.

• Define and implement the long-term project development strategy, shaping RIFT’s international growth and market positioning.

• Manage and optimize the full project development process to maximize value creation and investment readiness.

• Ensure governance, risk management, and decision-making processes are in place so that projects are executed efficiently, transparently, and with maximum strategic impact.
  

What you’ll do as Chief Development Officer

How you make a difference?

• At least 10 years of experience in capital-intensive project development within energy or infrastructure.

• A proven track record of delivering large-scale projects up to FID.

• Financial and strategic insight to proactively identify and mitigate risks, with a clear view of long-term impact.

• Inspiring leadership and experience in building and managing multidisciplinary teams.

• Persuasive vision and the ability to align internal and external stakeholders with an ambitious growth strategy.
