Job description

As a Business Developer at RIFT, you accelerate the decarbonization of industrial heat. You take the lead in turning incoming opportunities into conversations with industry frontrunners and support customer journeys from first contact to signed contract. By translating technical solutions into compelling value propositions, you play a key role in shaping RIFT’s commercial growth.

What you’ll do as a Senior Business Developer

  • Drive the generation and conversion of market opportunities into high-value client engagements with industrial leaders.

  • Support customer discussions and advise on decarbonization with our breakthrough technology.

  • Contribute to the full commercial process from intake to contract, including preparing negotiations and pricing.

  • Co-create proposals, business cases, and subsidy structures together with finance and legal.

  • Strengthen our value proposition, segmentation, and sales approach based on market insights.

  • Represent RIFT at events, trade fairs, and within relevant industrial networks.

Job requirements

What you bring as a Senior Business Developer

  • Opportunity mindset: Ability to attract and convert leads into meaningful engagements with industrial frontrunners.

  • Technical affinity: Understanding of industrial processes and thermal systems, and how they enable decarbonization.

  • Commercial acumen: Insight into the end-to-end commercial process, from intake to contracting and pricing.

  • Business case skills: Capability to develop clear proposals and straightforward business cases together with the team.

  • Networking strength: Talent for building lasting connections at events, conferences, and within industrial ecosystems.
