Job description
Do you want to play a key role in accelerating the energy transition? RIFT is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to apply their expertise in developing and optimizing our Iron Fuel Technology. As a Senior Process Engineer at RIFT, you will be responsible for the development and optimization of our Iron Fuel Technology. You will oversee the entire process, from concept to implementation, including the scalability and efficiency of our systems.
What you’ll do as a Process Engineer
Develop and improve process designs for Iron Fuel production and application
Analyze performance and propose optimizations based on test and operational data
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to realize system integration
Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing systems and documentation
Senior
Lead complex process design and development projects from concept to implementation
Define and safeguard technical specifications and ensure process quality
Coordinate work packages within project teams and take responsibility for technical alignment
Act as a mentor to colleagues and contribute to team learning and development
Job requirements
What you bring as a Process Engineer
For all levels
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Energy Technology or a related field
Experience in process design and working with relevant simulation or engineering tools
A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills (Dutch and English)
Specifically for a senior role
Minimum 4 years of experience in process engineering within the heat, energy, or (petro)chemical industry
Experience coordinating projects or technical work packages within a multidisciplinary team
A natural mentor who promotes knowledge sharing and continuous learning
