Job description
RIFT is an innovative, fast-paced startup at the forefront of decarbonizing the heat-intensive industry with Iron Fuel Technology. We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded Business Analyst to join our business team.
How you can make an impact
You will analyze the economics of proposed Iron Fuel systems for our customers to ensure they not only lead to substantial carbon footprint reduction but also offer healthy economic returns.
What you do as a Business Analyst
• You develop and maintain our techno-economic model for Iron Fuel installations.
• You extract valuable insights for technology development, plant design, sourcing and pricing
• You assess demand and supply scenarios and validate business cases.
• You devise strategies to mitigate pricing risks and enhance stability.
• You advise your colleagues on new business opportunities aimed at scaling our technology.
Job requirements
Why you make a difference? You…
• Have experience in developing techno-economic models, incorporating mass and energy balances, factory design choices, and energy price scenario building.
• Are analytical, have a structured mind, are business smart, and a clear communicator of complex concepts in both Dutch and English.
• Possess a strong drive to make a difference and are always seeking improvements.
• Have 3+ years of experience in business analytics or strategy consulting, preferably within the energy production, chemical, or related sectors.
• Hold a degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Strategic Management.
