Job description
As a Process Development Engineer at RIFT, you will be at the forefront of advancing our Iron Fuel Technology. You help turn test results into technical progress, by planning, analyzing, improving, and supporting. Your insights directly impact how we scale our process and technology from demo to industrial scale. This is a role for someone who thrives on experimentation, analysis, and building solutions with impact.
What you’ll do as a Process Development Engineer
Develop and execute test plans to validate KPIs and extract lessons learned
Analyze measurement data and samples from the pilot plant and translate findings into process improvements
Support the operations team during testing and process optimization
Document test results and clearly communicate outcomes to involved teams
Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations to identify and implement improvements
Continuously update test plans based on new insights and technical findings
Job requirements
What you’ll bring as a Process Development Engineer
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
Experience in developing and executing test plans in a technical environment
Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, or MATLAB
Completed Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics
Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
Keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
